We're looking for a tech-savvy and self-motivated Junior Business Analyst to join our New York office.

As a leading provider of regulatory intelligence solutions for top investment managers, we build quality software for demanding users. Our business analysts work through challenging data-driven problems to ensure the operational success of our products. Our analysts collect and analyze financial and regulatory documentation, and then use a range of tools to create groundwork for the development of targeted software components. While the role is not client-facing, our business analysts are asked to follow regulatory news that affects our customers and to propose updates to the application.

Our employees work with incredible autonomy and have lots of opportunity for direct, creative input into product decisions. This position also provides an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of finance, operations, risk, and regulation.

  • Collect, organize, and analyze regulatory information.
  • Follow established procedures to convert regulatory information into logical pieces required for integration.
  • Evaluate data collected through task analysis, review of business and legal documentation, and review of business processes.
  • Document the results of all analysis, and transform this information into tech-consumable form using internal and external tools.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach by proposing creative solutions to improve software.
  • Partner with Development, QA, and Data & Analytics teams to ensure new features meet requirements.
  • Partner with QA team to design test cases.

  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to juggle several projects at the same time.
  • Capability to own a task and ability to find solutions through collaboration.
  • Knowledge of financial products and markets.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Information Systems.
