This position is on their new R&D team that is focused on their Enhanced Recovery Technology Platform. In this role, you will be the technical expert for program & product solutions to combine new, digital health technologies with product lines that have a proven, clinical track record of treating acute & post-surgical pain.

 

Required

-Strong engineering degree - ideally computer science of electrical

-BS with 9+ years in design/development of medical/electrical devices (MS with 7+ or PhD with 5+)

-Real-time algorithm development (LabVIEW real time, FPGA, Simulink OR Verilog) for application of Ultrasound of other imaging technologies

-Deep knowledge of 62304, 60601, and 13485 development processes and standards

-Python programming

-Familiarity with databases (SQLite or MySQL preferred)

-Ok with occasional travel (couple days at a time to visit customers at hospitals - mostly other states but rarely international)

 

Preferred:

-Worked on medical device similar to theirs (treating acute or post-surgical pain)

-Worked on medical device with imaging technology

-Worked on connected devices

-Knowledge of Linux, Windows, command line, version control (git/GitHub)

-Machine learning libraries (Keras, Theano, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

-Numerical/imaging libraries (numPy, openCV)

-Familiarity with other programming languages (JavaScript, PHP, C/C++)
